If you entrust me with the search for a property in Provence, in the south-east of France, I work under an exclusive property search mandate valid for three months.
My fees vary according to the purchase price of the property and are payable only upon signature of the final notarized deed of sale. They are calculated on a sliding scale ranging from 3% to 1% per price bracket, excluding notary fees.
At the start of my assignment, once your search criteria have been carefully reviewed by email or video conference, a retainer will be requested.
If the property search is successfully completed, this retainer will be deducted from the fees mentioned above.
If the search does not result in a completed transaction, an itemized statement will be prepared covering the work carried out, travel expenses, detailed reports with photographs, property visits, and my on-site assistance in Provence. This allows you to shortlist properties from home before traveling to view them in person. These costs will then be deducted from the retainer.
